Every first consultation includes a 60-minute health coaching session, a tailored treatment plan and two email check-ins between appointments.

How much is a functional medicine consultation in Edinburgh with Charmaine Shepherd?
The discovery call is free. An initial consultation costs £354, including a health coaching session and two email check-ins. Return consultations are 50 minutes and cost £264.
What is the Wellness Package?
The Wellness Package costs £899. It includes the initial consultation and coaching, plus three 50-minute follow-ups and ongoing updates to your plan. It saves £247 compared with booking each visit separately.
Are tests included in the consultation fee?
No. Laboratory tests are priced separately, depending on which are right for you, and are always agreed with you before they are ordered.
How much is a carotid artery scan?
A carotid artery scan costs £456. It takes about an hour and is done in person at the Edinburgh clinic.
